Beyond the classroom

Every child at Charlton is presented with a vast range of opportunities beyond the classroom to develop, progress, excel, or to simply enjoy themselves.

We recognise that academic enjoyment and progression is not just limited to the classroom. Our extra-curricular offer is not simply an ‘add on’ but very much part of our global curriculum and wide offer to the each child. These allow children to express, enjoy, challenge and realise their potential in a variety of ways.

We believe that trips, visits and experiences bring learning to life and promote Wonder, Knowledge, Discovery and Responsibility which are the foundations and drivers of our ambitious curriculum.
