Early Years Foundation Stage
Our vision is to be an exceptional school where children flourish
This will be achieved through an ambitious and engaging curriculum in a happy, kind, inclusive environment facilitated by committed and caring staff.
Early Years includes children from birth to 5. At Charlton, children mainly join our pre-school (Acorns) from ages 2 or 3 depending on availability. Children begin in Reception from the September of the academic year in which they turn 4 years old.
Further details about our pre-school and reception provision can be found on the separate links to the right.
