Engineering Fair 2024
Every year, primary schools across the VAT take part in a science fair. This year, we are taking part in an Engineering Fair!
The aim of the engineering Fair is to increase STEM learning capital throughout our schools; promote child-led learning and problem solving, utilising skills from across the curriculum and to engage our community in our pupils’ STEM education.
During Term 3, our children have been working on their own projects in pairs/small groups. They have devised their own question and have been busy working on ways to solve this.
During Term 4, they will be presenting their projects to their families, and an overall winner from each class will be decided.
Those selected as winners will take part in a whole day event at Williams F1. During the morning, finalists from each school will share their projects with engineers who will judge the projects. There will be a number of other activities throughout the day (including visiting the Williams Museum) which are still to be confirmed. There will be a presentation in the afternoon for the winning pairs.
