Please scroll down to your child’s year group to view and complete the work set for this week.  You may see, what looks like, a duplicate of a document.  In some cases we have added a PowerPoint and PDF version of the same document, to allow everyone to access it, no matter what device they are using.

Home Learning PE resources – Mr Chadwick

I’m hoping to offer some support with PE at home over the next weeks/ months to keep you active. Most of you will now have seen the videos by Joe Wicks on YouTube, they are a great start to the morning and I recommend them to start the day.

I will also be doing some videos, once a week, that are more skills based than fitness based – I will try to think of activities that can hopefully be done in your garden, living room or small spaces with as little equipment as possible. These will now be on Youtube too as this seemed the best way of making the videos accessible to everyone out there. All videos have comments disabled and are made for the kids channel so are as safe as can be. Also, they have been listed as private, meaning that only people with the links that you will be sent each week can access the videos.

The channel is called ‘PE with Mr C’ (catchy, I know!) and on it I will put the videos up each week of the skills stuff for your children to do.

This week’s PE from Mr Chadwick – Years 1+ 2

This week’s PE from Mr Chadwick – Years 3-6

Trick shot!

If anyone wants to send in a short video of their kids doing the exercises – and is happy to give us permission to put it on the VAT website and twitter page we can do that, I will choose a few, and share what is happening across our schools and at home. My email is pchadwick@vale-academy.org  obviously, if I could ask that you only use this link for videos and PE related work. Can I also ask that the email is not shared with the children, but is just used for videos from parents/carers.

Attached below are some good links to other videos to use and some nice little activities for the kids to do.

Keep in touch with all things PE related and I hope you find the videos useful.

Best Wishes

Mr Chadwick and Mrs Lawton
