Ofsted Report and Guidance

20th November 2024

Dear Families,

I am writing to share with you the outcome of our recent Ofsted inspection, which took place on 8th and 9th October. We are pleased to inform you that the report is now available, and we would like to take this opportunity to share it with you. Please click the document below to read teh report.

Ofsted inspections have recently changed, and now not every inspection results in a category, such as Outstanding, Good, Requires Improvement, Inadequate.  Schools, like Charlton, who've had track record of 'Good +' inspections, now have what is known as an ungraded inspection which focuses on determining whether the school has taken effective action to maintain the standards identified at the previous inspection.

We are proud of the positive feedback and the progress our school has made, and are pleased with the observations and evaluations made by the inspection team, and feel that these are a true reflection of our school’s self-evaluation. The inspection team recognised the hard work of our staff and the progress our children have achieved.

We want to thank you for your continued support in helping us provide the best possible education for our children. Thank you again for being part of our school community. We look forward to working together to continue providing an excellent education for all of our children.

Warm regards,

Mrs Sam Campbell

Head of School
